I spent 3 nights here and I didn’t have any issues about how I was received or treated throughout my stay. The room was always cleaned and bins emptied daily (once you hand your notice for housekeeping). I loved the artwork! From the bar to the rooms! I loved the designs! One other thing that stocked out to me was the fact that water was provided each day! Which I wasn’t expecting. I anlso received two tokens to free cocktails on the house! All in all I’ll give this a 9.8/10 (just keeping the 0.2..haha). I really enjoyed my stay and checking out online made leaving easier as well!

Hux Hotel Really good location, especially having arrived into Paddington - just a couple of stops around to High Street Kensington. We were able to leave our bags as we arrived a little early, and then we checked into a fairly spacious room, which had tea/coffee making facilities and water. The bathroom was excellent and the shower had decent power which is always a win! There were a couple of things that didn’t affect our trip in the grand scheme of things, such as not having our room made up despite leaving the sign on the door for this. Additionally, this meant we didn’t have toilet roll/water etc replaced and we then really struggled to get through to reception via their tablet. Not the end of the world but just a little frustrating as everyone we actually spoke to was so lovely! Also, the hotel had in advance stated that they’d place a birthday banner/chocolates etc for my husband’s birthday, and didn’t - again, not a dealbreaker however, and would still definitely return in the future. An ideal spot at a fairly reasonable price for a few days in London - thank you.

A quirky hotel in a pretty decent location if you are wanting to go to The Royal Albert Hall. The room was nice, modern, dark and arty-farty, just like the rest of the building. The room we stayed in had quite low and angled ceilings, so you were standing and walking at an angle most of the time unless you were in the centre of the room or inside the bathroom. The facilities were basic, but good quality and standards. The air conditioning was great inside the room though. The lift was definitely a conversation piece, we used it once but decided to use the stairs afterwards! They had definitely made the most of the space they had. Just be prepared for a service charge note to be put under your door overnight, ready for when you wake up... Not a thing I was happy with and not a thing I believe should be done in the UK (this isn't America). We tip when we feel the need to, not when we are pressured to. Not sure whether I would choose to stay here again, but the experience was good nevertheless.

I stayed in a room that was more than suitable for a solo traveller. The room was clean and well appointed. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. It is in a lively area and there is a bit of partying going on outside at night most nights. The windows kept the noise out and it was a very pleasant stay. I would return to this hotel on a future trip to London.

Great stay overall and extremely good value for money. Location was brilliant. We stayed in the double chamber suite (4 friends) The flat was huge, very spacious, with a lot of thoughtful, great facilities and extremely comfortable beds. There was a lot of space to hang clothes and store personal items. It was also very, very clean and the housekeeping throughout our stay was fantastic too (making beds, topping up coffee pods and cleaning the bathroom). The air conditioning was excellent too. Issues we noted were: - no welcome pack in flat on arrival (so we didn’t have WiFi code nor drinks tokens). - The WiFi itself was pretty poor (kept tripping onto 5G when in the bedrooms). -The TVs were poor too - the reception for terrestrial TV didn’t work in bedrooms and we couldn’t get terrestrial tv on in lounge at all. Having said that we were able to log into the apps on the TVs eg Netflix so that was better - shower pressure poor - no wine or champagne glasses (yet lots of other very high quality crockery and glassware which was odd!) - not really enough comfy lounge seats for 4 people to relax in front of TV in an evening - slightly weird layout if we’re honest. The living area doesn’t have much natural light and a big chunk of the space is devoted to a console table by the front door that serves little purpose. It would be improved by removing that, moving the dining table there and then making the comfy area next to the kitchenette bigger. Anyway, that was our personal view Despite the list of bugs all the big things were right it was fantastic value for money and we’d all stay again

The staff are absolutely wonderful and took great care of us! I loved the decor and vibe of the hotel. The location was great. The bar had a nice atmosphere in the evening, with incredible cocktails, and again, great staff! I found this hotel on a third party site and got a really good deal when booking directly through their website, which was an added bonus. The street outside can be a little noisy at night which was the only downside, but is to be expected given the location.

This is our second stay at The Hux. Had a very warm greeting and had a very relaxing stay both times. The bar is great for live music and cocktails, loved all of the interior decor around the hotel and in our room too! Staff put a birthday banner up and chocolates in the room for my husband for his birthday. We also got two tokens to use at the bar for happy hour too. They also kindly let us check out one hour later than usual due to the 10k charity run my husband did the next day. We were very glad of this as we was drenched from the rain! Great place for a weekend/ long weekend stay, right opposite Hyde Park and five minute walk to High Street Kensington station. Excellent location, we look forward to staying again!

Booked this hotel as part of a last-minute weekend in London. We needed to be near the Royal Albert Hall, so location was the first requirement. The Hux Hotel ticked that box very nicely! We fell on our feet in every respect: the hotel itself is quirky, individual and funky - and all the better for being so. The room we had was comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated, so we had no complaints at all on that score. The staff were unfailingly brilliant, some of the best, most positive and helpful people we have met in many a year. The owner of the Hux needs to know he/she has a great team on board: they added to our enjoyment immensely. Really can't fault the Hux at all: next time we're in London, we know where we're heading...
